    Yeah, how much would the news actually care to disclose the seedy doings of the main Yakuza plots? Could they could even get that information? Like, the cops that are involved have many reasons to not talk, and the surviving criminals definitely aren't. On the other hand, the PTs might find his blog posts from the Revelations, or puff pieces about local businesses (assuming they even remember Kiryu):
    "Returning legend dominates Pocket Circuit in matter of days"
    "Hostess-turned-business-owner rises from the ashes"

    Dudes Kiryu beats up being apologetic is almost a coin flip, though half just say "This isn't over!" or "I'll get my revenge!" and then disappear forever. Unfortunately, in this case, that would still leave them at the school. It does seem like neither Kobayakawa nor Kamoshida would actually turn over a new leaf unless Kiryu was still living in Tokyo to make good on his threats, which leaves room for the PTs to do their thing.

    I haven't played Y6 yet myself either, but I know a little bit by virtue of having watched a few fights/cutscenes. I do know that the Y6 villains play into "yakuza ideals vs reality" and "past vs present", I can say that much. While we're here...I haven't played P5 at all LOL! What I know is by osmosis or watching my friends stream it, but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying this fic, and others.
