I love your AU Tibbs first meeting fic. "Miles" was so believable as Gibbs undercover persona. Tony was just too cute fumbling over him when he fell. I am a long time horse lover and used to ride at summer camp. Your tacking details brought up great memories. Really nice story. Thanks, QotD
Many thanks! I enjoyed creating Miles. I think I came up with the name when I was watching Frasier (Niles). When I finished writing, I thought it was perfect that it worked for the title - Riding for Miles. *G*
I had so much fun with Tony's embarrassing Faux pas, and his attempted recovery and apologies. I'm so glad you enjoyed that part.
I did the whole horsey thing from collecting Breyer models, endless drawings, reading stories by Marguarite Henry, to galloping around like a horse, riding lessons, summer camps...and even owned a horse for over 20 years. I miss him, but just can't afford another horse at this time. I was thinking of taking up riding lessons again, which is why this story came about in the first place. Always fun to meet fellow horse lovers, even if only virtually. I'm glad the horsey bits brought back pleasant memories for you!
