don’t ask me how i ended up on this ancient fic but i’m SO glad i did. your characterization of alan was amazing and every single section made me emotional. i love Ellie more than life, and seeing the way Alan describes her here was so lovely and incredible. the part with the raptor in particular got me - slipping the collar into his pocket, telling them not to let it die in a cage. it really spoke to his character and the world that you’re playing in. this is definitely a new favorite fic.
