u fcking fucking fuuuuuuuuuuuck this was good. like so, so fucking good.
Like, shit, saving Nina? Best fix-it ever (okay, bit of a lie, there are a lot of other things that need a-fixin in the FMA world, and I can't wait to see what they become in your hands), and I love how Roy is grappling to deal with this strange, over-powered, young man. On one hand, I understand what he's saying about Ed needing to learn to fail. On the other, the fact that I knew how *wrong* he was about speaking chimeras, made me instinctively root for Ed with all the more power. Gods and monsters....Their relationship will have to adapt a lot to all the rules that Ed will break!
It would be interesting to see another part with Roy's perspective (either on the whole thing, or specifically on Shou Tucker). I think there must be an immense crack/rift/shift between the cool, slick man who calmly told Ed about Tucker at first, and then the man that exists immediately after Ed reveals how speaking chimeras are made.
I love love love what is going on here. It's been a few months, but I'd love to hear about what you have going for the next part!
