    ASFHGVHFULSTD!!!!! okay, now that that is out of the way, to the actual review.
    This fic is my new favorite thing in the history of Arda!!! For erus sake your dwarf voices are so spot on and the dialouge flows so beautifully. I was laughning and crying at the same time!
    The prompt hits me on all the right feels and seeing someone transform it into an epic masterpiece is like...like someone handing you the silmarils(no! bad metaphor, owning the silmarils would not be a good thing, I'll think of a better metaphor.) Anyway, after reading the first chapter, I went to see your other works and discovered that you are also the author of that beautifull Legolas/Gimli fic that I kept crying over so long. So knowing and seeing proof of your amazing Legolas/Gimli voices, I now can't wait to read the dwarf/elf romance in this new fic. Also Bagginshield!! This is surely how Beren felt seeing Luthien for the first time!(Still bad metaphor, seeing as I don't want this fic to die, and neither do I want to see myself to die. Therefore I will not have an Beren-Luthien romance with this fic, I will content myself for admiring afar.)
    Riiiight... I'll try to gather my scraps of dignity and tell you that I like your fic and wait for the next chapters with enthusiasm!

      Augh WOW, thank you! I am squirming about with happiness - eeee! So glad you like my Gimlegolas one-shot! And oh goodness, people seem to like this so far and I am just so relieved. I was sure it was just a bit... weird. A bit too different. I was all, "wtf brain the prompt is cute and funny and you are turning this into the Durin Family Angst Hour?" But it's the only way it seemed to come out - and of course, Thorin angsts just so prettily, poor lamb.

      Gimli turns up next chapter! I'll have it edited and up in a couple of days! I need to obsess over it and tweak it over and over again, naturally *sigh*.
