      I had actually considered writing that in! I ultimately decided against it because of the fact that in the perspective of this story, most of the characters we see in this chapter have worked with Genji before to some extent - whereas Emily hadn't known Tracer as long. Also the fact that Emily isn't a special operator or anything, she has no fancy technology... she is just. Emily. XD

         I think canon they were together during Storm rising, which is six years ago? I realize this is your AU and your timeline may be different

         And let's be honest, nobody can keep up with Lena regardless of their fancy technology :P
