Aww, thanks!💕 Yeah, Gilmore is having a very bad day. I hadn't planned on giving him a little buddy who knows his secret, but it worked out well for this. I doubt he will react to all of the conclave as bad as this, but it's hard to tell at this point. I didn't expect him to take Umbrasyl's death this hard. It's certainly a big inner conflict for him, but maybe it will help him deal with some old drama he's been repressing.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who worries about NPCs. I know they get treated kind of carelessly in the story because they ARE NPCs, but from a writer's perspective, it's just weird to have characters who are important to the main characters just kind of tossed out the window when they're not on-screen. We know so little of Cassandra, because she never really gets to do anything but play hostess in Whitestone. I just want to do okay by her, because she is a lot more interesting than the main campaign story gives her credit for.
