    This was so beautiful. Like beautiful! Josh and Riley's conversation was one of the best I've ever read. You really got into it and got into the characters. These two would grow a new bond and become close because of their love for Maya and have a very special relationship. I always thought Riley would have this honest conversation with Josh and let him know she trusts Josh with Maya and to take care of her. In a way she is handing her best friend over to her uncle and trusting him with her. When you get a relationship especially a serious one like Joshaya is entering you know your friendship is going to change. Maya isn't going to turn to Riley anymore. She is going to turn to Josh but I think Riley will still have a special friendship with Maya and I think her and Josh will have a special friendship. I think a lot of authors miss out on writing the closeness Josh and Riley. I loved Maya listening in on the two and Josh without a doubt should never question his love for or relationship with Maya. These two are happy, in love, and better together.

      Wow, you have no idea how happy this just made me! :D

      First of all, it's good to hear that you liked this chapter! I actually had a lot of fun writing this conversation between Riley and Josh because, just like you said, I always kinda imagined them having this conversation about Maya too so I knew I just had to write this. :)

      Maya hearing their conversation and hugging them at the end was actually just something that came into my mind while writing the chapter and I just thought it seemed like something Maya would do. xD

      As for the relationship part I completely agree with you! Maya won't turn to Riley anymore but she knows deep down in her heart that, if she needs someone besides Josh, Riley will always be there for here!

        I'm happy I can make you happy haha. I loved the chapter and the way you wrote it. The conversation was outstanding and hit some major points for me. It went the way I would see it happening. Riley would tell Josh she trusts him with her best friend and to take care of her. It is sad when you think about it. Riley is in a way being replaced by Josh in Maya's life. That's what happens but Riley will always be Maya's best friend. Riley will always be the second person she turns to and sometimes the first when what is happening deals with Josh. Their friendship is going to change but they will still be best friends.
