This is the beautiful start to an even more beautiful story! I especially liked the way the characters react with one another, staying true to how the characters act all the while. And holy poop, with the way you described Rose's outfit, I've got a seriously bad urge to draw her now! Also, um, dumb fun fact: when I read the part where John noticed three boys from the swim team, I instantly thought of the boys from 'Free!'... yeah.
Heck yeah! I am all for people drawing Rose! I'm so curious to see people's interpretations of her outfit. Just tag it 'like one sundered star' so I can find it! I'm glad you think the characters are true to themselves - a lot of the challenge writing this fic has been maintaining the different voices for each section. Success!
