Ngl my sadistic heart debating killing Vel. I mean, we haven't seen her since the end of BFA. But I couldn't do that to Hal, who I've tortured enough. My poor bb. The very last scene wasn't originally part of this, and sprung forth almost fully formed when I added the anecdote of the story Halduron's mom told him about the lovers, to justify himself to his sister. This was originally supposed to end when they both died, but it actually ended up being one of my favorite parts. Hopefully Hatheon and Velanni don't live through the same anguish Halduron and Velonara did.
