    It could be canon. After all, Dior is going to die right after, and the detail of how exactly Celegorm and Caranthir died might be lost in the the fog of war. The twins death is right up with the first kinslaying in competition for most awful and avoidable violence in the whole story.

    I'm excited to read this and the tags and hear I'm getting more kickass Haleth in later ficlets.
