    "trying desperately to love him and keep him close at the end of the world"...i'm actually going to sob this is all so good. wilbur's first words after the explosion being "you're okay"...the role reversal from phil destroying his wings protecting wilbur in canon and wilbur taking the brunt of the blast to protect tommy...god. what a stunning canon divergence this is. <3
