There's so much to unpack that canot be healed in just one meeting with old friends, though I'm glad he has people he trusts a lot. I was so iffy about the lore regarding the Phoenix, I was picking it up along the way and I'm glad you enjoyed it and actually understood it :D
Dude Sam's reaction was my favorite part to write mostly because he almost blew himself up while getting all emotional then Puffy and Ponk comforted him :'D
About the boy's clear reaction to each event I did want to write it out but the chapter was getting too long and I wasn't sure if people liked super long chapters :') I might do it as a side chapter and make this a series so they're connected.
