howl: omg i can't believe i messed up my wedding vows after practicing them every night for weeks it's ONLY once sophie has convinced herself that howl is impatient for her to go that she stubbornly sticks around long enough to hear what he's been trying to say the whole time! once i saw how invested you were in the library book subplot i COULDN'T just leave that snippet in my discarded scenes doc!! :) yes!!! found family found family! calcifer learning about how to love & be loved from his wonderful ridiculous humans........ haha if sophie hadn't gone for the flower-shop-name-aesthetic argument howl could've tried with "wasn't it fun being called mrs. when you were old? don't you miss it? well i have an idea--" i'm so so glad you enjoyed the story!! your comments have been a joy to read, thank you! <3
