   Ooh, this is divine!! I love a modern AU where canon is historical in some fashion, and this is a delightful beginning.

   I also have a lot of beef with Jon’s exile (poor storytelling, nonsensical, etc.) so I love the course-correction you’ve plotted.

      Thank you! I figured that what happens after Jon gets exiled would be so confusing for future Westerosi historians that they'd still be trying to figure it out several hundred years later. It was fun for me to imagine a modern-day Jon trying to figure out what the hell his canonverse counterpart was doing.
