  1. This is so good, you write really well! I'm glad you decided to continue this, I'm really invested in this story!
Aw Skid, baby...I want to hug him so badly. Even for a child like him, seeing that must have been horrifying. And while Pump tried to help, I doubt Skid will see anything related to heads or dismembered limbs the same ever again.
Man, now that I think about it, if Pump did get the gummy crocodile and proceeded to rip its head off to eat it, I think Skid would have straight up passed out.

Idk if the monster is straight up evil in this, probably, but I'm sure he'd hate for his "helpers"/friends to be terrified of him, so he'd try to make Skid calm down, but accidentally scare him even more.
Lila and Pump are worried sick, and Skid's mental health is taking a dive each day. Maybe they start to feel the difference during their day to day life, maybe Skid is acting weird at school, can't sleep well (insomnia/nightmares), and feels on edge if he even sees a lemon.

Just some ideas this gave me, but I'm really excited to see what the next chapter will bring. This was really pleasant to read! I mean, it hurt, really bad, but damn it was good.

    1. I love comments like these, they really inspire me to keep going~

Lol when I wrote Mr. Nice Guy it was just an idea I thought up and wrote out of adrenaline. I did NOT think it would get this much attention, but I'm so glad I wrote it✨

      1. No yeah I know that feeling x) but I'm glad you're having fun writing this just as much as we enjoy reading it, because your stories do bring a smile to a bunch of people.

Dude, if you want inspiration you're in the right place cause my brain just went brrrrr with this.

        - Skid either tells Pump and doesn't tell Lila right away(or tell neither of them) because he already feared she might not approve of their friendship with the monster before. And he was afraid of getting into trouble.

        - Lila turns on the TV and the news is on with a picture of the man, who was declared as "missing", and Skid has a full blown panic attack upon seeing it.

        - They pass by the same alley Skid saw the monster in, and refuses to pass through it/hides in the backseat until it's no longer in sight.

        - Once Pump learns of the monster's true nature, he's so terrified he refuses to walk in the dark without Skid around.

        - Skid, upon seeing Pump scared, tries to pretended it's all okay and comforts his friend. He's very protective of Pump and will stand in between him and the Lemon if worse comes to worse. Trembling in every limb, but determined to protect Pump from the monster.

        - He can't sleep because whenever he closes his eyes he swears he can see the decapitated head staring at him. Skid is coming to sleep with Lila a lot more often and she is getting very concerned.

        - Sleep deprived traumatized baby keeps falling asleep at school, and the teacher called Lila for the third time this week. This time because a few kids were playing with the dolls and either the limbs came off or they were giving it a "makeover" with red markers to make the lipstick (I used to do that😅) and Skid was so horrified he passed out.
