    With how much you are against lying it really seems like you would have rathered Tony say that Peter's suit was great no matter the truth. And yeah, it works for him at the moment, but it is absolutely atrocious. It looks ugly as hell and while I wouldn't say that straight to his face, Peter can't possibly believe that it couldn't be better. Also, that suit really has no protection and while being Spiderman really isn't safe at all, that suit also doesn't do him any favors. Also, the fact that you hate all the Team Cap bashing is funny when that's literally what 90% of your fics are but just for Tony. You pretend that you're better than us when you're really not.

      Me: No, I'd have preferred Tony stay away from a 14-YEAR-OLD instead of locking himself in the room with Peter, putting down Peter's efforts to make the lure of a new suit more appealing, ignoring Peter's refusals to go to Germany, and then blackmailing Peter when the bribe doesn't work.

      Me: Tony shouldn't have been in a child's room AT ALL. And Tony shouldn't have been BETRAYING MAY PARKER'S TRUST by exploiting Peter. And gee, if it was so important that Peter have better equipment, then maybe Tony shouldn't have taken the suit away in Homecoming and forced Peter to find clothes in a dumpster to wear home?

      Me: LOL. I think you're projecting. I state on every one of my collections that I am parodying something WORSE said by Team Iron Man, and putting them all in one place to show how ridiculous their head canons and lies are. If you don't like it, get all of the prop-Tony writers to stop bashing Team Cap and lying to prop Tony. Then there would be nothing left for me to parody. Win-win, right? :)

      The difference is gibs doesn't lie whereas those cap bashing fics are written by ignorant sociopaths who like to pretend Tony did nothing wrong and the world should revolve around him while treating there ridiculous headcannons life there real with no evidence to back them up as truth so they can find ways of deflecting that tony Stark is narcissistic 50 yo man baby who has the most circular journey in the MCU: selfish prick who doesn't care about others and does what he wants without empathy to selfish prick who doesn't care about others and is only concerned with his guilt and anger and has no empathy for others.
