    Like they are just in denial about Ponks human-ism. Ranboo is the only one who has any clue (ranboo my beloved i’m so glad maddie gave u the brain cells) and the others are simply oblivious. Ponk: *does something human* Badlands: *yo he is so weird. at least he’s not a human tho lmao*
    To be fair, from Sams reaction idk if they’re ready to hear about it,, but bro!!! you can’t just assume all humans are dangerous because they beat the dreamons!! that’s speciesism or something probably

    Pffft i just love all the different characters and their different personalities. Ponk is just eternally chill and i love his random banter it’s so funny (the way you narrate him just makes me giggle - “humans have this neat thing called adrenaline” OR “Heyo Purpled,” Ponk says in greeting. “Did you bring some croissants?” *faints*) iconic. perfect. masterpiece. breathtaking. magnificent. i refuse to look up synonyms but all of the similar words.

    I just love how lighthearted it feels, even with the really traumatic backstories and histories between the species it’s so intense but at the same time very chill and it’s the perfect balance.

    Idk space aus are just so much fun to read and you write them so wellllll Maddie.
    (also what the heck are we just gonna ignore the fact you moved countries?? ok. i hope you’re doing well and that it isn’t too stressful. uhm congrats? idk man that’s exciting tho)

    I had a busy past couple days but i should be back to read each chapter as it comes out now and IM SO EXCCITED :DDD

      Ranboo has a lot of cues due to his upbringing as an Ender, but yes, the others are absolute idiots and we love them so so much

      Yeaaaahhhh, all of the Badlands crew are pretty much terrified of humans!! When they first adopted Skeppy, Sam and Ant hissed at him for a while

      Also, I'm so happy that you like the way I wrote Ponk!!! He was soooooo fun to write!!!! :D Thank you so much1!!!

      And yeah, there's definitely a ton of very unhappy background, but Ponk is a happy-go-lucky and so is this story!!!

      (yes we're pretty much ignoring it lmao!! I moved cause I'm waiting on my visa to live permanently with my wife, but unfortunately it the immigration process is taking way more time than it was supposed to! So we have to be separated for the time being, which sucks a lot, but I'm back with my family and I'm staying busy with a job so i think im pretty lucky all things considered)
