   When talking to Nick, Judy should replace every usage of “would it kill you to ...” with “did it kill you to ...”

   As for the box, Nick had to have buried it in the short period of time between him acquiring the house (through some sort of shell corporation that is allowing him to keep ownership despite being dead) and him dying. I’m leaning towards the contents of the box being related to a hustle or blackmail that Nick was running. Possibly part of the traditional “unfinished business” that is keeping his ghost around. He doesn’t want Judy to open it because he thinks (accurately) that Judy will attempt to solve it, and then he’ll be dead-dead as opposed to a ghost

      Oof, that would hurt!

      I like that angle a lot with Judy attempting to solve it and Nick being gone for good! There's always unfinished business, isn't there?
