Thanks again for the insightful comments! This is the first fanfic that I've ever written (for anything), so I hope I don't let you down! I do love Trollhunters, and hate where ROTT left us, and was compelled to write this just so I could have good feelings about the series again.
I knew I was making things harder for myself by limiting it to Jim's POV. Mostly because I still have to figure out what everyone else is doing "off camera", and somehow get that conveyed only through Jim. Also, it's super tempting to want to write other character's thoughts. But in the end I really really liked the idea that the reader doesn't have any idea what's going to happen next either.
And the tension, and consequences, of Jim's time-meddling are going to start ramping up very quickly very soon for our poor guy.
