Thanks for the review! Yeah, only one side could win and this story was conceived before Dogwarts lost in canon (technically, before Skizz died and Impulse switched sides), so that's where that came from.
And that's what happens when Ren sees a babyface like Grian just completely go insane - plus, his one goal of killing Scar was just taken from him, so that probably sobered him up as well.
