Good chapter overall but I can’t help but feel a big yikes with how the Third Doctor mentions the other Time Lords near the end, naturally presuming they’re still around. It’s so sad/tragic. Like how you rewatch a movie and you see a character go, “wow, I can’t wait to do all this stuff!” And you know they don’t because it ends very sadly.
Then there’s the juxtaposition of, despite looking older, the Third Doctor is the younger among them. I liked how you noted that. (Though on a lighter note it reminded me of The Five Doctors and how, despite being the oldest, the Fifth Doctor is referred to as “young man” or “my boy” by his past selves.)
