It wasn't cringey at all, it was really cool ! I really love this concept! And well people tend to forget that Steve isn't that old really if you don't count the ice, he is in his twenties when he wake up. And probably didn't get that much chance to be a kid considering first the great depression and then the war, so I think it fits really ! And I love what you've written so far and would love to read whatever you'll come up with next.
