    I saw the update email in my inbox and I was like "this is going to destroy me again isn't it" and you know what. it did.

    I love your characterization throughout all of this! In all the family reveal fics I've read it's generally only Apollo who gets to be upset about anything regarding the reveal, so Trucy showing her vicious side was a treat to read. And this chapter managed to hit the perfect balance between funny and sad with Apollo. I was cackling through the whole target section, but the way he latched onto solving Klavier's issues instead of thinking about his own is...oof.

      Everyone should get to be upset! It’s a very upsetting situation! I think I wanted to do my own take because there are some Really Top Tier fics! Dealing with the fallout but hardly any of them hold Lamiror accountable for basically forcing Phoenix to lie for her. She gets a total pass. And Phoenix lying is always the problem and not the fact that he lied for someone he barely knows to hide things from people he genuinely should care for and has known for some time.

      I think Apollo, as the least guilt wracked of the three, will continue to have the lightest chapters lol
