i love how the fic is inko's pov but basically izuku centric, it rlly shows how much she cares for him. it also delves into her past which I've never rlly read before in a fic!! it's fucking sad that she never got a diagnosis or even fully realised that she could have a neurological disorder until she saw herself in izuku, but i love how she used her own experiences to help izuku cope with his<3
i've read a lot of stories from real life people where they only realised they're autistic / they're not 'just a weirdo' after their kid was diagnosed autistic, which is where that idea came from! i'm glad you liked how she used her own experiences :D it's something she's glad she can help izuku with
also yeah lots of fics don't look at inko's past at all! i think part of that is that canon gives us absolutely nothing to go off of, but it's interesting to think about how it might impact her responses to things. also izuku is inko's whole world really, tho looking back i might not have put enough thought as i should have into parents being people first and foremost, and not primarily being Someone With A Kid? that's just me being picky with portrayals though and my past writing akdhdjfghf
