    I am LOVING this. I may even have to read the source material now -- it can't possibly be any better than this.

    I particularly appreciate your AU skill -- that is such an easy thing to screw up, and you've done it so masterfully here. I'm having fun spotting the parts that are clearly SPN, the Bartimaeus parts and the purely original bits. I especially admire the endverse flavor so much of this has, and the very key bits of endverse that you've changed for the better. And the development of the relationship between Dean and Castiel (from "dicks with wings" to grudging if wary respect to real respect and even caring) is PERFECT.

    This fic is my co-favorite of the BB this year. You are a master.
