    I put the Russian first, cause it's the language they spoke. I put the English translation second so people would know what she'd just said. Kind of like a footnote, but next to the text.

        Very possible.
        In the series Connected, here on ao3, the writer does the same thing, I believe, putting the Russian or spoken language before the translation.
