   My heart *hurts* and this was wonderful. Also, Tharkay needs to stop running around the world, because I can completely imagine him panicking about ~feelings~ and disappearing for five years. Argh. Thanks for sharing

      thank you very much! let's hope canon doesn't let Tharkay run away to another continent in the next book, although given his history it might be a tossup...
