   In another place and another time, he might have found the whole situation funny, especially as one of the larger ones had rigged a pair of his garments onto a stick, waving it like a flag as it directed the rest of them to battle. Another handful dropped down towards him from above, using more pairs of underwear as makeshift parachutes.
