Ornela nooooooo!! Lavakho and Fonno and all the other Dosh Khaleen… The Dothraki are going to be pissed. Also, all I can really think is that this was a stupid plan, because even if they had managed to kill Missandei, they would essentially have an out of control dragon raging about. I guess they assume the dragons are nothing more than beasts but even then, I wouldn’t piss of the people with the medieval equivalent of nukes. Would be bending over backwards and doing what they wanted to keep my life but maybe that’s just my common sense. I really hope Drogon, Daenerys, and Grey Worm are alright, because I just know Daenerys would have came guns blazing the moment she felt something through the bond. This is a wonderful chapter and I absolutely adore your Dragonspeaker series to an almost unhealthy degree.
Oh yeah, the Qartheen don't know what they've gotten themselves into. Absolutely, it was not a smart plan (not unless they killed Missandei, Dany, AND all three dragons at the same time), but as we saw in the books, masters are so desperate to hold onto their power and to continue exploiting and enslaving people that it makes them irrational. They know that as long as Missandei and Dany are alive, they won't be able to continue the slave trade, so rather than try to change their system to NOT exploit people, they tried to get rid of our girls. You're right, if Dany was able to come she absolutely would have, but you'll have to check out the next chapter (which is up now) to see what happened! That is so kind, there's no such thing as adoring it too much, IMO :P Thank you again for reading and commenting!
