If he was a great Healer, Sidious must have gone to great lengths to somehow convince Anakin not to turn to him in his hour of desperation / need. When he had nightmares of Padmé dying. If that happened as in Canon.
I wonder what did happen to Padmé. If she lived, or if she died, would Obi-Wan have offered a better diagnosis than that of "She lost the will to live?"

Awwww healer Ben sure had a rough time of it! As for your questions- some stuff isn't answered in this fic. Mustafar did happen in this one, and Ben did win- whether that was due to raw skill, dumb luck, or some combination is up to interpretation.
As far as Padme goes, you'll have to wait and see!
Hahaha Vader would totally win a malpractice suit by just being in the room. I wonder how he got so suspicious of doctors! Surely it couldn't be because of a certain known manipulator...surely not.
