    I’m getting teary eyed here too. Absolutely fantastic chapter! I’m looking forward to that space in tome when Ingo is allowed to breath and process and mourn properly for all the lives he knew and lost.

      Everyone gets to cry just a little, I think. I'm so glad you enjoyed!! I am also looking forward to the "mission" evaporating and the story pivoting to recovery, processing and closure. The joy of fanfic, you know, to just say "well the aftermath is part of the story".
