i rescind my earlier comment; what i really needed was Aria bitching out Emily. Love to see her unafraid to speak her mind! Now I’m pretty sure that Ali got in a car accident on the way to see Em at the hospital, and now she’s mentioned to maya that she was hospitalized. Not sure why i’m surprised, but i can’t imagine how awful it must have been for them to both have to be in the hospital, probably apart from each other for a while. I’ve also been wondering how Ali’s whole deal with drinking plays into the trial and presumably, accident… was she drunk driving? why was she drinking if she was supposed to be out buying medicine? and finally… did she kill someone? Maya said she thought 7 years was too little—sounds like manslaughter to me. If so, that’s even more trauma that she probably never went over with Emily. it seems they really do have some shit to talk through. finally, i too would like to pummel Maya to a pulp.
