    You're a genius! The “second” part of this chapter make me laugh so hard imagining poor Thorin dressed in a weird Santa outfit and facing the audience like a deer in headlights.

      I really thought hard about this chapter and though Thorin may think he's super cool (and bilbo too) he's actually just a special snowflake. And obviously he's wearing Thranduil's santa outfit. I like to think he got less robotronic by the end of the show.
