    wow omg this fic is so good??? it for real felt like something that actually happened in the game - something that actually SHOULD HAVE happened ;w; love how you characterize everyone and how you worded things in your writing <3 i especially love the metaphors and analogies from venti - it felt as if he was speaking to kaeya and the reader directly, which is really rare to see in a fic. you fr did kaeya justice for the event bc boy he deserved an npc cameo for the last part omg im fr so crushed they didn't include him like it was so sketchy?? your fic helped make it feel more complete in a way... the ending we should've had ;w; thank you sm for lovely work <3

      seriously tho, thank you so much for reading and commenting! one of the things i love most about Venti is exactly what you said here: a lot of the time he feels like he's breaking the fourth wall and actually speaking to the player, not just to the Traveler or whatever character, and it's something i really wanted to try out and see if i could replicate. i'm glad it was successful!

      and SAME! HOW DARE HOYO GIVE US SWEET SAD FLUSTERED KAEYA AND THEN NOT LET US TALK TO HIM AFTERWARD. i was devastated okay. that heartbreakingly sad smile and he walks away and just. baby where did you go???? i literally sent a search party, i was so sad he wasn't anywhere to be found. so i'm really glad my efforts make the event feel more complete for you, too!
