    I love your Venti. Just need to get this out, because it's rare to find a balanced Venti. Godly, but also That Guy. Equal amounts. Yes.

    But this fic was really what I needed after that event. That man needs a hug asap. What was that scene on the closing animation? His face! The saddest smile ever. I wouldn't trust anyone that doesn't wants to hug Kaeya just a little bit.

      i tell you what i agonized over Venti. i adore him, but his character is such a balancing act between dorky fun-loving shitbird and wise gentle archon, and man finding that sweet spot took pains, so i'm really glad it turned out well. <3 i too do not trust anyone who does not want to hug Kaeya, and man after that final cutscene i legit sent out a search party i was like FIND THAT MAN AND GIVE HIM A GODDAMNED HUG and then Hoyo was like NOPE, YOU MAY NOT. so yeah, i was like fine then, gotta do everything my own damn self around here. i'm so glad you enjoyed my efforts!

      (true story i s t r u g g l e with poetry, but Venti usually just drops some scattered rhyming lines unless he's doing a full-on performance, so i manage ueueueue. i do love iambic pentameter but usually all i can manage is a couple of lines here and there before i start tearing my hair out LMAO. but thank you so much, it's wonderful to know my attempts came across well!)
