    Thanks for this. Considering how advance in many ways Westeros healing is despite it supposed to be medieval setting, that birth scene didn't make sense. Really having just a maester deliver children with assistants in this world doesn't make sense. Midwives are usually more knowledgeable about birthing practices than a man, especially if they've experience it first hand.
