More or less! He's still wary about it because, well...Dream went from killing Tommy twice to suddenly being very defensive of him. SOMETHING happened, and it bothers Tubbo that he has no idea what it is.
But Tommy is also the happiest he's been in a LONG time, as well as determined to stick with Dream. Tommy will do whatever Tommy wants to do. There's no force in heaven, hell, or anywhere in between that can stand between Tommy and an issue he's decided to dig his heels in.
The best Tubbo can do is make sure he does actually have someone else to talk to. Even if Tommy is worryingly and infuriatingly vague about some things, and also refuses to show off the kickass moves he supposedly knows, that's still his best friend. They've been fixtures in each other's lives for longer than they haven't. No amount of distance can change that it would take something cataclysmic to truly split them apart.
