    Damn you've got a good first line, way to get my attention.
    The line "I don’t really have a comprehensive list, but if I did, ‘global pandemic’ would be near the top." really hits different in 2022.
    That first section really does a great job setting the 'self insert' character as complex; between the personalized ranking system that everybody has thought about at least once, dangers of her being trans, the innate discordance of "a pacifist, mostly" paints a good picture. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this already :)
    Wonderful description of how absolute bonkers it would be to wake up in a different body, even with the wish fulfillment of "one of my life goals for the last twelve years".
    Nice choice for the name "Cassandra". I see what you did there ;)
