I think that in this case, Wispspirit was an unreliable narrator. She muttered that nobody would grieve for Crowfrost, but she was fueled by grief and anger. Tawnypelt and Dawnpelt canonically stood with Crowfrost and his decision. Some cats likely refused to help him when he collapsed because they lost respect for him (for example, Spikefur, Scorchfur, and of course Wispspirit), but I think that the main reason nobody moved was that the instability and anarchy left them confused, distressed, and unsure of what to do. Also a lot of hopelessness.
