    Bittersweet, well-written, and it kind of broke my heart and comforted me since they left the world about the same time.

    Hit a bit close to home, as I have recently lost an elderly relative yesterday.

      Oh gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope this didn't make things worse.
      I was thinking about a relative who passed away while writing this and for me at least I hope it was this...peaceful, you know?

          That's good, I'm glad she was surrounded by people that loved her. I wasn't near home when everything happened and it's still something that...yeah
          But we had recently celebrated his 80th so I'm glad I made sure to come home for that. It's a great memory to have of him.
          It was a while ago now and-I know people say time heals and that it's not very helpful at the time but...just cherish the good memories you have? and keep your family close, that's all I can say ♥
