    Oh good! I've been going through my bookmarks and I realised that you were bang on with some major characterisation of John in The Empty Hearse.

    John really doesn't care when he meets Sherlock about the how, he is totally about the why. He also has a lot of rage initially coupled with disbelief and a mental slip of gears. Also what you said about his self discipline with his emotions that only slips when Sherlock misjudges and says *totally* the wrong thing. Yeah, we got that!

    I wish we'd got your Moran though. *sulks*
