So lovely! She'll always fight him on Red John, and he'll always fight her on taking care of herself. I like this self-contained "vignette" style story, kind of like a character study of them.
I was a little thrown off when you described her as three feet shorter than Jane (that's quite a height difference!) but otherwise your writing is extremely smooth and expressive, easily painting an image in the mind. Thank you very much for sharing!
