And yup... Jason's past self is gone but not forgotten, carefully preserved like a picture frozen in time, a painful stab as a sharp contrast between how he was treated before and how he was remembered. ((The answer is yes.))
And yeah... it's really sad and probably a thing that will return continuously. Jason lost his past life and so much has changed now because time is merciless and will not leave anything untouched.
And yup, they definitely think they got another child genius at their hands. At least his more childish impulses help sell the act a bit and they make Jason feel good so double win. It is little things like that which show while he does have memories older than his body, his brain is regardless off that still that of a child XD
And yeah... Jason's going through it. At least tears are a healthy emotional outlet.
And Cass...well, she sees and she interacts with what she sees. Might look weird to an outsider but remember we only got a limited pov!
