    Oh my god i just read the entire 6 chapters in one afternoon and what can i say?! I was craving for any HDM crumbs since i finished the series a couple days ago, and the stories i found just weren't satisfying for some reason...and then i found this MASTERPIECE, i love everything about this story, but the characters are limited and so i must control myself.

    1- first, i absolutely LOVE the way you portray Asriel and Lyra's father and daughter relationship, all the way from how you made the course of events you created match with the timeline of the canonic plot to how you wrote it in a way that allows us readers to have way more insight on their relationship dynamic and most importantly what they relationship could've been like if canon Asriel was portrayed a 'little' less as obsessed borderline "psycho" workholic and more....well "human", but to be serious, he keeps the essence of the character while allowing us to explore more depht to this character other than his obsession with his war.

    2- i absolutelly adore the long chapters, i can digest the story way better this way.

    3- Will and Roger are simply the cutest and really pass the acuracy vibe check in the aspect of bringing the essence of the character to the story, i personally love how we can see a little more of Will's family dinamic and what could have been if his father hadn't "vanished" and then shortly dying after meeting his son, this version where Will has a whole family is really lovely and i think i've never seen a story portraying it that way.

    4- Mrs. Coulter, our Mommy dearest who just recently appeared but already went and stole her daughter back 😂, can't be more Marisa than that, i really liked how you remind us, throught pantalaimon mostly, how she can't be fully trusted, because my recent memories of her were just season three where she is softer (??) around the edges, and less like the psycho from the beggining, but yes, it served me well to remember how problematic their relationship builds up to be with all the lies and stuff.

    5- and at last but not least Lyra, Lyra Belacqua, strong, sensitive, too smart for her own good, too curious for her father's good, too adventurous for her friends tastes, too reckless for Pan's poor little heart. She is everything, from her loliness to her bond with pan, and how she deals with Azriel's absence and temper, it's all magnificently Lyra and i loved everything about it.

    Anyways, after all this rant you have no obligation to read, i've noticed you said that the next chapter would be posted this month? Do your perhaps have any idea when the next one may be coming out? Regardless of that, i loved your story and you're very talented.

      Oml first of all ty for such a massive comment! (and ofc i read all of it, comments like this really make my day!!!) And that's an insane compliment that you like it so much... This is very self indulgent for what I wanted after finishing S3, so I'm really happy its fitted that craving for someone else!!

      Thank you! I lov writing Asriel & Lyra's relationship the most (obviously) - its fun to take bits from the series & the books and merge them. I'm realllyyy glad you think I kept the character essence!! its hard with Asriel cause yeah he's so work focused in canon xD

      Ahhhh!! I'm glad I love Will & Roger but tbh writing them comes a little less naturally to me, so I'm glad, and it's really fun doing Will's family - I also haven't really seen it this way and tbh its what Will deserves in a non canon universe

      HAHA Marisa moves very fast she got right to the kidnapping xD Yeah! I v recently reread book 1, and its v clear there how much Pan doesn't trust her vs Lyra, so it's fun to do... Yeah S3 she is kinda softer. Less horrendous but still yeah, v problematic

      I'm really glad you like my Lyra writing most of all!! I absolutely adore writing her for all those things but she's so complex, so I sometimes worry I'm falling short, so I'm really happy to read all that!!

      And yes, actually, the next chapter should come out this weekend! I actually just finished writing it today... so just some editting left! Tysm again, it's really nice to read that
