    For the first part of your comment, you'll have to wait and see, as for the Denali Coven and Volturi, some clarification. My interpretation has always been that after the death of Sasha, the Denalis want as little to do with the Volturi as possible, and are fearful of their attention in any regards. Remember they've been alive far longer then Carlisle and they don't have the benefit of Aro's weird friendship with Carlisle to protect them. The sisters saw their own mother get killed right in front of their eyes for breaking the laws. They've seen the destruction of numerous covens at the Volturi's hands and they do not want theirs to be next. Realistically, you and I know there's little chance Aro will care that the Denalis have gained Bella, considering Aro seems to have little interest in Bella's gift in the first place since he has Renata. However, it would be naïve to assume the Volturi wouldn't take notice of this development when this occurs, and this could turn their attention on the coven if only for the moment. Tanya and her sisters, (again my interpretation), are of the mind that all attention is bad attention when it comes to the Volturi, and they wish to stay as far away from them as possible. That's what Kate is referring to by drawing their attention. Even if no one is getting tossed in a bonfire and they're not doing anything wrong, they don't want eyes on them. Hope that clears up where I'm coming from in my writing (at least for this fic), and thanks for reading and commenting :D
