    Aw, Keira didn't exactly express the complexity of her feelings up until now! Though Catalina probably had an idea.
    I think the issue with coming from an orphanage is your 'parent equivalent' there are just doing their job. And there were probably those who this was very obvious with and some who it wasn't as much. Coming to terms with the fact Lance actually wants this as much as them is new.
    And yeah, I'm super excited for that fic too! I keep going into edit it before getting distracted.
    I also have a fic from back in S1 of Lance comforting the girls after a nightmare and some Baron backstory for the girls.
    As well as probably a oneshot in Vardaros showing off how the city is growing from the perspective of Lance and his daughter.
    So a surprising amount of content coming for this family!

    I think Cass might be aware. But she has so many more important stuff to worry about! Exile, magic, politics... Complex feelings of attraction? She wishes there were her main concern!
    As for Caine, I think she wants to aggressively confront her emotions but just like jumping of a ledge into water she just freezes, feels stupid about it but freezes. She just needs the right motivation.......

    And yes, the sad...
    I mean, she's known ever since Pacifica called it out that her bond to animals was odd. Rapunzel not sharing it was what truly made the nature of that bond undeniable though. I think she's very scared of how her parents will react, there's a part of her which knows they'll love her despite it, there's a part of her which wonders what will change, there's a part of her which wonders what it'd mean for Corona as a whole if news got out. She's overwhelmed and went to the only other person who she both trusts but will be able to understand her fear... And Eugene is there for her, fully.
    I think Eugene and Cass has an amazing sibling dynamic in season one! But the show did seem to forget to continue it moving forward to season 2... But I will never forget!

    And yeah, Lance using Cass as a translator will probably happen all too often.
    "This animals loves me, right Cass?"
    Cass sighs. "It wants you to let it go Lance."
    "Cass is a liar and a bad translator!"
    But for that, Cass will need to find the bravery to tell the others. Magic isn't exactly well receives by many and though Rapunzel would 100% support her... Would she keep the secret?
