      I love your comments. I got this one at the exact right time - my brain was being mean. But then I read your lovely comment and that shut up the mean part of my brain. 😊

      Daniel will teach Max that it's okay to ask for help! Slowly but surely. (And then Max will teach Daniel the same thing. Daniel might actually be worse at accepting help than Max is, because Max is used to Daniel having a caregiver role when he's little, so it's not such a big stretch. But Daniel will learn it's okay too. (But that's not until a later chapter!))
