      It probably won't because it would perk his interest, and even if it did, the fact is Jiraiya has knowledge of a possible future and is trying to prevent mishaps that occurred to Konaha in said future.

      Orochimaru would suspect Jiraiya got hit with a jutsu that somehow had unforseen side effects and wants to figure out how it works.
