    I think in a way, Marinette kind of created the villain LIla's going to be! She was already evil and manipulative, but then Marinette took her illusions away and created this sort of obsessive vendetta Lila has. I love writing villains like that, & I can tell you that in this fic Lila's going to be taking advantage of absolutely every opportunity to poke at her enemies' weak spots 😈

    Yes you're right, Marinette's POV is coming! You will definitely get some insight on what's going on in her head lol.

    (And as for Magpie - she's just an NPC idea I had for an Akuma that I hadn't had a chance to use yet. You might get a glimpse of her in an upcoming chapter if you pay attention ;))

      I actually never thought of it that way. I always wanted Marinette’s and Lila’s rivalry be based on Marinette having a hand in Lila becoming the villain, but not in the way you put it.

      I would compare the two to how Batman and Joker’s relationship shifted in the LEGO Batman movie. The Joker was evil, obviously, but he also took his and Batman’s enemy relationship seriously, as opposed to Batman who saw him as insignificant. This led to Joker taking his actions seriously and becoming a much bigger threat as oppose to before.
